Review: Wegmans Instacart

By Rosalie Christensen - Macaroni Kid Publisher for Bel Air, MD & Cecil, MD December 12, 2017

Like so many others, there just aren't enough hours in the day, but Wegmans Instacart just made my day a little easier. I went to the website https://instacart.wegmans.com and before I started shopping, I checked out all of the tabs at the top of the page to see what was there. I then looked through the coupon items, each department and typed into search for items that I didn't see, answered a few questions at checkout and my order was on its way. The online ordering site is simple to use and full of product information. The items in each department are separated into categories and the home page shows items that you frequently use for easier shopping. Read the fine print as there are a few other fees associated with the delivery service.

Wegmans Instacart service offers two-way communication so that you can get in touch with your shopper if needed. The shopper will let you know if an item is sold out and ask if you would like a substitution.  You will also know when the shopper starts shopping for your items and what items have already been placed in your cart. Your shopper will contact you when they are finished collecting your order and let you know an approximate delivery time. My delivery went smoothly and there were no problems. The shopper/delivery driver (Lisa) was very nice and agreed to have a few pictures taken while she brought the bags to the porch.

If you are extremely busy and short on time (like I usually am), have young children that drive you bonkers when you take them shopping or no transportation, give Wegmans Instacart a try. Use promo code (MACAROINIKID) and receive $10 off of your order.
