Macaroni KID turns 16 this month, and it's a great time to join our team!
We have more than 300 publishers, each of whom is an invaluable member of their community. Our publishers' jobs are to provide parents with the scoop on the best things to do and places to go with kids in their towns. They do that — and so much more! We're so proud of the ways Macaroni KID publishers make a difference in and showcase their communities. From publishing weekly newsletters highlighting local events to hosting events like Mom Proms in their communities, they are making an impact every day on their communities. It's inspiring to see.
We've had an amazing year as a company in other ways as well. One highlight was our publishers' trip to Walt Disney World. Publishers and their families had an amazing, unforgettable three days of magic at the world-famous park. That was just one of several trips publishers were invited on over the past year.
Ariel Chamberlain, Macaroni KID publisher of Gulfport-Biloxi, Miss., was one of the publishers whose family joined us in Walt Disney World!
Sixteen years is a long ride! I've been around for over three years now, having taken over as Macaroni KID owner and CEO in 2020. I believed so much in Macaroni KID that I took the reins in the midst of the pandemic, when life was so uncertain. Leading Macaroni KID and integrating it with CertifiKID — the company I started in 2010 — instantly created one of the largest digital media platforms for families in the country. Now, all I can see ahead of us is excitement, continued growth, and opportunity.
Are you interested in becoming a Macaroni KID publisher? We are actively recruiting for sites that do not have publishers — find out more now!
Here is how just three of our publishers have made a difference in their communities recently:
Kara Ault, the Arkansas publisher of Macaroni KID Fayetteville and Macaroni KID Rogers-Bentonville, recently hosted a Mess Fest:
Kaitlyn Grosz, publisher of Macaroni KID Plymouth-Canton, Mich., worked with sponsors and delivered 150 Boo Bags to families in her community:
Holli Carlin, publisher of Macaroni KID Cherry Hill, N.J., hosted a "speed-dating" event for moms:
These are just a few examples of Macaroni KID publishers making a difference in their communities. Each and every one of our publishers has their own story to tell! Join our community now and maybe we'll be telling your story in this space next year. We can't wait for you to come with us on this journey!
