Annie's Playground - Fallston MD

Spotlight on Annie's Playground

By Rebecca Brumbaugh, Publisher of Macaroni KID Bel Air MD March 19, 2024

Annie’s Playground in Fallston was recently renovated, and it looks more like wonderland than ever before.  My family loved this playground before the renovations, and we love it even more now.  This is one of our favorite places to play in Harford County, MD, especially on a warm sunny day.  Annie’s Playground is filled with endless opportunities to have fun, with obstacles, swings and slides galore, and so much more to explore and climb.  It is definitely worth a visit!

This enormous playground is located at 864 Smith Lane, Fallston MD.  There is a large, paved parking lot directly next to the playground, so parking is as convenient as possible.  There are also indoor restrooms available on site, which is a feature not all playgrounds have to offer.  If you are a runner or walker, you can jump on over to the Ma & Pa trail that connects to the playground as well.

Annie’s Playground includes three separate play areas fit for kids of all ages.  The primary playground has slides, swings, a rock wall, and two enclosed rope climbing obstacles.  There are a variety of spinning options, musical structures, a castle play area, and slides of all shapes and sizes.  Additionally, there is an entire pavilion with picnic tables for a lunch break during your time at the playground.  We love Annie’s playground for its creativity, size, and all that there is to explore.  We do, however, consider this playground a 2-parent playground in my family because of the multiple entry and exit points.  The next time your family is looking for a fun place to play, check out Annie’s playground.
