Lyn Stacie Getz Playground, lovingly known as the Giraffe Plyground, in Bel Air MD is a wonderful playground with loads of fun to explore without being overwhelming. This playground is located in the middle of Bel Air between the Festival Shopping Center and Upper Chesapeake hospital. This playground was recently revamped and we love all the new features.

Lyn Stacie Getz Playground includes a large tree house with stairs and other obstacles to climb and explore, slides of all varieties including tube slides, straight slides, and more. There's a rope tunnel, a rock climb, tire swings, regular swings, and handicapped accessible swings. There is also a wheelchair accessible glider. We love the spinning rope climb contraption and you will love it to if your children love to spin!
We also love the new soft rubber floor that was added! And there are plenty of picnic tables and benches if you pack lunch or a snack for your visit!
This medium sized playground is located at 301 W Ring Factory Rd, Bel Air 21014. There are bathrooms onsite which is a major plus! There is also a large paved parking lot right next to the playground for easy parking access. It's so convenient, we leave the diaper bag in the car and walk back to the car for anything we need.

This playground is a decent size to visit with my three children ages ranging between 2 and 6 without the support of an additional parent. I am marking this one as a 1.5-parent playground, because depending on the day extra support may be necessary. Make sure you add Lyn Stacie Getz Playground to your list of playgrounds to visit!
